Concord College is a highly successful international boarding college providing GCSE and A Level courses. Set in 50 acres of Shropshire parkland, the College combines outstanding facilities with first-rate academic performance. Students are cared for by a dedicated staff in a safe and beautiful environment. The atmosphere at Concord is warm and friendly and with great emphasis placed on hard work and polite behaviour.

In 2006, 90% of all A Levels taken by Concord students were graded A or B. In September 2006 the College was placed 25th in the UK’s Top 500 Schools by ‘The Financial Times’. On the basis of these excellent results, 10% of Concord’s 2006 students were offered places at Oxford or Cambridge and the College has been highly successful in placing international students into UK medical schools and other top UK universities.

The College is always developing. In September 2005 we opened a new £1 million Science building emphasising the College’s commitment to excellence in Science. In addition to this, in September 2006 we will be opening a £1.5 million residential block was opened offering single rooms with en-suite facilities for our senior girls.

It is also worth pointing out that during July and August we run a Summer School offering intensive examination classes in English as well as Science, Mathematics and Economics for A Level and GCSE students. Summer School students are also able to make use of all the College’s facilities.
